Ten Thousand Villages hosts our 7th annual Rug Event fundraiser. Each year we host Bunyaad Rugs, a fair trade job creation program for over 850 families in Pakistan. Bunyaad creates economic opportunities to women and men in rural areas all over Pakistan. The event is 5 days long. Volunteers will flip rugs for customers to view. Volunteers must be 18 years of age and physically able to flip large rugs.
