The front desk is the welcome center of Shelter House. Volunteers work with staff members to handle calls, provide information to clients & community members, take donations, assist with laundry, etc. This position is always supported by a full time staff member. Shifts are available from 9-12pm, 1-4pm, and 6-9pm everyday of the week.
Responsibilities include:
Handling incoming phone calls on our phone system
Providing information to clients & community members
Handling incoming donations
Handing out requested donations
Assisting with house and client laundry
Handling Drop-In Services (1-4pm)
