ReStore is a donation-based home improvement store whose proceeds benefit Iowa Valley Habitat's affordable homeownership and repair programs. ReStore keeps valuable and usable household items and construction materials out of landfills and allows homeowners to maintain their homes affordably.
ReStore volunteers help with all the daily tasks of running the store. Tasks will include unloading donations, assisting with small projects, cleaning, re-merchandising products, and organizing the different departments within the store. We also need volunteers willing to ride in our truck along with staff to pick up donated items within the Iowa City and Coralville areas. If you enjoy small projects and interacting with others while helping a great cause, the ReStore is the perfect opportunity for you!
Age Restrictions: All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. All volunteers under 18 must have a liability waiver filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Shift Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday every week
Time: 9:30am-1:00pm; 1:00pm-5:00pm
