Who We Are
The mission of Iowa Humane Alliance is to forge partnerships and develop programs to reduce animal shelter admissions and end euthanasia as a form of population control.
We envision a state where all companion animals have safe long-term homes, where feral cats are valued and protected, and where euthanasia is no longer used as a form of population control.
What We Do
Iowa Humane Alliance is a Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor area nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ending the animal over-population crisis and eliminating euthanasia of healthy and adoptable pets in Iowa. One of the ways they accomplish this is through the Iowa Humane Alliance Regional Spay/Neuter Clinic which offers high quality, low cost spay and neuter services five days a week for shelter, owned and free roaming animals. For more information about this or any of IHA's other on-going programs, please contact Iowa Humane Alliance at 319-363-1225 or visit our website at www.iowahumanealliance.org.
