Who We Are
Promotes responsibility through informed and active participation in government and acts on selected government issues.
What We Do
The non-partisan nearly 100-year-old League of Women Voters at the national, state, and local levels engages in three primary activities. It studies issues (like forms of city government, environment, women's health); it educates the public (usually by means of public forums); and it encourages citizen participation in democracy and advocates governmental to representatives on matters of public policy once issues have been studied and positions taken.
