Youth soccer coaches are needed for the fall/spring outdoor seasons. (April/May or September/October) Time commitment is about 2 hours per week during a 7-8 week season. 1 hour for games on Saturdays and 1 hour for a practice during the week. Coaches choose their own practice days and time. Equipment is provided. All games are played at the Iowa City Kickers Soccer Park, 4400 Soccer Park Rd.
Volunteers must be able to pass a background check and complete a short USSF certification class.
Past experience working with children is desirable along with a positive attitude and good mentoring skills. Teaching good sportsmanship is a priority. Past soccer experience is not necessary as training is provided.
