Help us feed Johnson County by collecting and delivering surplus food! We are looking for Food Rescue Volunteers who pick up wholesome food and and deliver it to organizations that feed the hungry, homeless and at-risk populations. As a Table to Table volunteer, you get to be the face of food rescue, the face of food security, and the hands and heart that collect wholesome food for our neighbors in Johnson County! Food Rescue Volunteer Routes usually last 2-3 hours.
Volunteer Duties
- Using a Table to Table van to collect donations from donor sites and delivering to recipient organizations - but don't worry driving our vehicles is not a requirement to volunteer!
- Picking up food from donor sites
- Packing donated food into boxes and loading it into our vans
- Dropping food off at recipient organizations such as community pantries, shelters, preschools, etc.
