Description

Community Inclusion Club (CIC) is a non-profit that was created to provide/ facilitate socially inclusive opportunities for adults with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) living in and around the Iowa City community. We do this by hosting events once a month at various locations where people with and without ID meet, mingle and get to know one another. Ideally, this will result in people forming friendships, and in turn those friends will meet and communicate with one another outside of our scheduled event times. We realize that people with ID often lack opportunities to interact with their non-disabled peers in the community, and this club was founded to change all that.

If you are interested in being a part of CIC, please go to our website (see below)and register.

We do background checks on all members, and once you have been vetted you will be added to our mailing list. Please consider joining our group; it is truly life changing and I guarantee wyou will have a great time!
