Who We Are
Iowa City Kickers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which has been serving youth since 1978. We provide recreational soccer leagues for youth in grades K-12. We play all games at the Iowa City Kickers Soccer Park, 4400 Soccer Park Rd in Iowa City. All games are local.
Our players are from Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Solon, West Branch, West Liberty, Kalona/Wellman.
In addition to outdoor seasons in the spring and fall, we also offer a winter indoor program and a summer soccer camp.
What We Do
We are currently looking for volunteers to serve as youth coaches for the spring season which is played in April and May. We serve a large population of disadvantaged youth who do not have parents who can volunteer to coach.
Applicants must pass a background check and a certification through USSF. Weekly time commitment is about 1.5 hours for Saturday games.
Applicants should have previous experience working with children, be positive role-models and have an enthusiastic attitude towards teaching sportsmanship.
