Relationships: Our diverse membership provides a fun and accepting environment to build friendships and develop partnerships. Character: We encourage girls as they build confidence, integrity and respect. Empowerment: Girls develop the knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve their full potential. Service: We give back to our communities.
What We Do
Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls, all girls, everywhere. In an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, such as leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois serves nearly 20,000 girls ages 5-17, in 31 counties in Iowa and 7 counties in Illinois.
