Who We Are
The University of Iowa DeGowin Blood Center is a hospital based blood center whose purpose is to collect blood and blood components for transfusion to patients at University of Iowa Health Care and UI Stead Family Children's Hospital.
What We Do
Our donor center is open Monday through Friday for whole blood and platelet donations. We also go into the community 3 to 5 days a week for blood drives.
